Leave Overnight Heart Health Bircher Muesli

Delicious, overnight healthy apple Bircher muesli recipe to support your health and fitness goals. Try this get your heart back up breakfast recipe. Cacao seeds are rich in for the heart. Turmeric too will benefit the heart. This muesli is very colourful so gently mix the rich cacao and turmeric powders in and let the yogurt just accompany it on top.

Serves: 1


  • 25g oats

  • ¼ cup apple juice

  • 80g Greek yoghurt

  • 50g apple

  • 5g almonds

  • 10g cacao seeds

  • 2 grams (1-2 t-spoons) Powdered or grated Turmeric

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 5g walnuts

  • 5g dried apricot

  • 5g pepitas


  1. Place oats into a medium bowl and pour over the juice.

  2. Chop apricots and nuts, and add to the soaked oats.

  3. Add the seeds, cacao and mix well. Dollop yogurt atop.

  4. Cover the mixture and place in a fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight

  5. Chop the apple and add to the mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon on top, serve and enjoy.
